About Hygia's Blue

“HYGIA’S BLUE” is derived from Greek mythology. In ancient Greece, Hygia was the goddess of health, cleanliness, and hygiene. She was the daughter of Asclepius, the god of medicine, and the granddaughter of Apollo.

Blue is a primary color found in various realms of nature. It is seen in the sky, oceans, flowers, and animals. Blue is often associated with calmness and the positive aspects of life for most people.

The intricate fusion point between the ancient word (HYGIA) branching from health + the word “BLUE,” representing one of nature’s many aspects, serves as the inspiration for naming our brand HYGIA’S BLUE.

All of HYGIA’S BLUE’s products are vegan, made with clean and natural ingredients that work synergistically to promote beauty and wellness.

As soon as I started living in NY, I experienced several health problems, including acne, hormonal changes, allergies, thyroid, changes in skin texture, melasma, and dandruff, in addition to an intense cycle of stress.

I then started to learn more about the cosmetics and self-care I used, what I ate, my lifestyle, etc. I also realized that many women were going through the same things. I discovered that most brands had formulations that were not beneficial to the body and that there was a lot of wrong information. I constantly noticed that when using a product to help with some issue, another problem started, which nullified the benefit gained. I never felt happy with my skin and my appearance, and my self-esteem was compromised.

Then I started looking for alternative products that were clean, but it was not easy because of the lack of clarity of many companies and also doing stress management, through relaxation and meditation.

I realized that it had a visible and positive impact on my skin and health as a whole, but it was difficult for me to get into a state of relaxation and be able to meditate until I realized how to enter into such a state quickly, whenever I wanted, and then the idea came up to help people through safe products, with natural alternatives and tools to facilitate relaxation and meditation, quickly and efficiently.
